Education Services

Childbirth Education

Crafted around the Lamaze Six Health Birth Practices, which "are designed based on years of research to simplify your birth process with an informed approach that helps alleviate your fears and manage pain", we will cover topics such as the physiology of birth, mechanisms of pain, pain management, and much more in an interactive and engaging style.
Where: Classes are delivered via Zoom at this time. Stay tuned for in-person announcements. 
When: Classes begin the first Tuesdays of January, April, July, and October and run for five consecutive weeks on Tuesdays, 6-8PM. 
Cost: $350 for birthing person + one support person; $50 for each additional support person.
Notes
: We suggest taking prior to 38 weeks pregnancy, but if not possible we will work together. Instructor is a current Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, and this is a Lamaze qualifying course. If you have a conflicting schedule, please contact for options. 

Lactation Education

Lactation and breastfeeding information including health impacts, latch and positions, initial feeding, feeding methods, possible challenges, and how to support lactation are presented to educate individuals and families who have decided to breastfeed or who are exploring human milk for human babies.
Where: Class is delivered via Zoom at this time. Stay tuned for in-person announcements. 
When: Third Sunday of the month, 10AM-12PM.
Cost: $150 for birthing person + one support person; $50 for each additional support person; $100 for four weeks of lactation support.
Notes: We suggest taking this class between 35-38 weeks pregnancy, but if not possible we will work together. Instructor is a current Certified Lactation Educator through Evergreen Perinatal. If you have a conflicting schedule, please contact for options. 

Comfort Measures for Labor

There are many effective pain management techniques or "comfort measures" that are known to be quite effective during labor. This course will focus techniques supported by current research to include breathing, massage, hydrotherapy, movement and positions, vocalization, tools, and physical support for all stages of labor. 
Where: Class is delivered via Zoom at this time. Stay tuned for in-person announcements. 
When: First Sunday of the month for March, June, September, and December, 10AM-12PM.
Cost: $150 for birthing person + one support person; $50 for each additional support person.

: This class is open to all birthing people; support persons are not required. If you have a conflicting schedule, please contact for options.
